I'm a writer (of all things), yoga instructor and self-love coach.
I am passionate about self-love and spreading awareness and knowledge around health, wellness and wellbeing.
Specifically, women's health and wellbeing: mental, emotional, physical and spiritual.
I describe all that I am passionate about and that sparks my soul to fire as a combined effort of - Intuitive Living - which is living in alignment with one's Self, body, soul-urges and natural talents.
And I'm a massive fan of education and self-evolution.
I see education in every lil' thing!
In the last few years of my big, crazy twenties (yip, that's what it felt like) - I have found myself becoming *super* passionate about personal-wellbeing, wellness, self-love & self-care!
You see, it started really small and kinda young: through buying Dove or Nivea toiletries, to spending two-hours a week blowing-drying my hair, and spending all of my cash on clothing & make-up, and then keeping the change to indulge in foods that I loved.
And it continued through all the hustlin' of student & city life: leaving home at the age of 18, studying screenwriting, experiencing harassment in the workplace, writing about it and getting published, to not making it in the film industry, and barely making it in the media worlds. I then decided to hop onto a plane to teach English & was gifted with a series of spiritual awakenings, a panic attack in a Korean forest, and lots of eating and drinking of my feelings - pizza, kimchi, beer, whilst table-dancing in Korean nightclubs.
Obvs.. I still love my glitter!
And then! Coming back to South Africa, where I (literally) found myself fighting the patriarchy in the streets of Cape Town AGAIN.
MAN, DIDN'T I DEAL WITH THIS ALREADY?!
I decided, NAH!
There has to be more to life than this fighting for your right to just *be* and there has to a space where I can be myself, FEEL myself and take care of myself.
And I was right! This led me onto a path of self-healing and self-discovery. I did yoga, sat in the sun, wrote & read as much as I could. And slowly, but surely, it made me realize that what I've been needing my whole life has always been self-fk'in-care!
At this point, it finally hit me and I saw that I have been trying to engage with this nurturing kind of energy for a long time, and that the language around self-care, emotional well-being, environmental sensitivity, empathy and intuition is REAL.
Now my aim is to create spaces of wellness and wellbeing through teaching yoga (I'm currently completing a yoga teacher's training), writing (the more creative side of me finds words sexy af) and sharing knowledge with others around this topic too.
I'm not a new ass person. I'm still me, but less afraid to be myself, speak my mind, voice my opinions, knowledge, experience and stretch my body that I'm so incredibly grateful for.
And I'm a massive nerd. I love learning. I read widely. And as of late, I've been sharing my intuitive gifts & love of emotional well-being to assist others to gain clarity in their emotional fog as well.
My personal belief is that wellness & wellbeing is for everyone! So be proud of yourself and your journey!
My intention is to become a leader and educator in the field of intuitive wellness and women's wellbeing (*soft skills* as they say), and I hope you can join me on this ride! ♥️

SELF-CARE BISH & BOSS ASS BISH BLOG
Singular Noun ❤
A Self-Care Bish and A Boss Ass Bish is a girl (now woman) who has been criticized her whole life for her creativity, self-expression, body, aspirations and opinions & is now finally learning how to heal herself, embrace herself, transform it and grow into who she has always meant to be: A Self-Care Bish & A Boss Ass Bish. Both pens down the two things I love: self-care and entrepreneurship.
It is a name for those who are unashamedly curious, expressive and active in their self-care game - while taking no shit from anyone (anymore).
Self-Care Bish.
Boss Ass Bish.
I am her.
She is me.
